There is a ticking time bomb for any business that relies on recorded music for ‘specially featured entertainment’ events. If it’s not dealt with before the bomb goes off, I believe you could see 99% of all such events cancelled. If you think this doesn’t affect you, then consider that ‘specially featured entertainment’ includes DJs, raves, dances, possibly even fitness classes! In effect, it’s any event that uses recorded music as an intrinsic part of the event.
